“We knew we wanted string music live at our wedding and during our research we came across the Bridgewater string quartet/trio and we are so glad we did! From the first bit of communication with Alison everything just flowed so easily. She was professional but so friendly with us and although our first time meeting face to face was at the wedding we felt like old friends. When we arrived they were playing in the garden and it just gave the event such a lovely atmosphere. We had so many compliments about the music, how talented they all are and how lovely they are and how much it added to the occasion having them play for us.

“The icing on the cake! We couldn’t be more grateful for how fantastic the Bridgewater Quartet were at our wedding! Not only did they play the music we selected beautifully, but they were also super adaptable to a few situations where things didn’t run as planned and in doing so they left the guests with no idea that things weren’t running to schedule. That adaptability is something we take pride in. One example was an awards ceremony where the venue’s sound system failed just before the celebratory music. The organisers had planned recorded tracks but the tech let them down, so we stepped in and played an upbeat, celebratory piece live. The show went on, the audience loved it and the organisers were able to breathe again.
We’ve been building reviews steadily since 2008 so reaching 75 feels like a real landmark for the Bridgewater string quartet and it’s a lovely moment to thank everyone who’s supported us. I wonder how long it will be until we reach 100?
We also have two Facebook pages — one for the quartet and one for the trio — and both pages have a facility for leaving reviews. I’ll add links here to our Facebook pages and to our Google reviews so anyone who’s kindly had us at their event can leave a few words if they wish.
