Emma & Emily’s Rock-Inspired Celebration

On 22 March 2025, Bridgewater String Quartet performed at Emma & Emily’s rock-themed celebration at Stock Farm Barn. From the moment we arrived, their creativity and warmth shone through. Moreover, the “alternative wedding” theme made every detail feel fresh and personal.

Rock-Inspired Celebration & Original Ideas

Emma & Emily greeted us like old friends. Consequently, we felt instantly at ease. They requested two brand-new arrangements for their ceremony. We learned them in the lead-up. When we opened with the dramatic Beetlejuice theme, guests erupted in cheers. Later, we rocked through Enter Sandman and Thunderstruck. Additionally, this mix of rock classics and string quartet arrangements brought the barn to life.

Bridgewater played as a quartet for our wedding and the only way I can describe it is when you’re watching live music and it makes the hairs on the back of your neck raise and a lump grow in throat, sensational!

Alison was absolutely fantastic on the lead up to the day and even learnt two new songs that we wanted for our ceremony and the band executed them perfectly on the day. We had an alternative Wedding day and Bridgewater’s repertoire accommodated our day perfectly.
