Yesterday, I joined the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra for a rehearsal, and it was unforgettable. On 17 July 2025, the M&S Bank Arena will host A Celebration of Zoe’s Place, a one‑night‑only concert that brings Merseyside’s finest together to support this vital cause.
A Celebration of Zoe’s Place: A Line‑Up to Remember
First, the stage features Jamie Webster, Ian McCulloch, Rebecca Ferguson, The Zutons, Lightning Seeds, The Real Thing, and the Sense of Sound Singers. Moreover, each act will perform iconic hits backed by a 66‑piece RLPO ensemble. Consequently, you’ll experience Liverpool’s musical heritage like never before.
Spotlight on Brad Kella
In addition, we were thrilled to welcome Brad Kella, winner of Channel 4’s The Piano Series 2. He performed two original pieces—but it was his debut single “Eve and Frank” that moved him most when the orchestra joined in. His heartfelt tribute to his foster parents will be a highlight of the night.
More Than a Concert for Zoe’s Place
Hosted by Adam Rowe and Leanne Campbell, this event celebrates community spirit and compassion. Furthermore, it honours the collective effort that secured the hospice’s future. As the holidays approach, it feels like the perfect moment for a city‑wide celebration.
A Privilege to Rehearse for Zoe’s Place
I loved every moment on stage today. For example, seeing Brad’s emotion during “Eve and Frank” reminded me how music connects us all. In addition, rehearsing alongside these artists reinforced the true power of live performance.
