Back to MMU Again!

Back to MMU Again!

We are thrilled to announce our third performance at Manchester Metropolitan University for their Mental Health Day event. Each time we return, the warm welcome lifts our spirits.

Why Mental Health Day Matters

MMU’s focus on well-being inspires us. Students and staff often juggle tight schedules. Live music gives them a quiet moment to relax. We love how a simple melody can ease stress. This event lets people pause and breathe.

What We Play

Our set blends classical favourites with uplifting contemporary tunes. Last time, our take on “The Bare Necessities” was a crowd-pleaser. We plan to add a few new pieces. Jake kindly requested it every time, so our arrangement of Muse’s “Supermassive Black Hole” has become our honorary signature track. Although not the most relaxing piece, it energises the audience and shows that Mental Health Day isn’t just about gentle and soothing music. We select music that varies mood and tempo, ensuring everyone finds something to enjoy.

Our Experience at MMU

The MMU team greets us with enthusiasm. Their organisation makes our job easy. We connect with the audience through every note. Watching students smile and staff tap their feet is pure joy. It reminds us why we love performing.

How to Enjoy Live Music

Arrive early to find a good spot. Close your eyes for a moment when a gentle chord strikes. Share a smile with a neighbour as a favourite tune begins. Let the music guide you to calm.

Looking Ahead to Next Time

We feel honoured to join MMU again. Planning starts now. If you saw us before, get ready for fresh surprises. If this is your first time, welcome. We can’t wait to meet you.
