Charity Lunch in Concert

Raising Awareness Together

Our Charity Lunch in Concert offered a memorable afternoon of music, community and support. We provided reception‑drink entertainment for 350 guests at MTX Contracts Ltd’s second annual fundraiser. Held in Edgeley Park’s elegant 1883 Suite, the event combined networking, a three‑course meal and a vital cause: testicular cancer awareness.

Concert-Style Reception for a Cause

From the first sip of prosecco, the atmosphere buzzed with energy. Guests mingled confidently as our amplified string trio played hits like “Halo” and “Rather Be.” Thanks to Sterling Events’ top‑quality equipment, the sound was clear yet unobtrusive. Consequently, attendees stayed engaged and the mood remained festive.

MTX Contracts Ltd: Event Sponsor Spotlight

MTX Contracts Ltd took the lead in sponsoring this charity lunch. They coordinated the auction, raffle and dietary arrangements seamlessly. Moreover, their support ensured every detail highlighted the Trust’s mission and maximised fundraising potential.

Afternoon Highlights & Entertainment
  • Three‑Course Meal & Wine: Seasonal dishes fuelled conversation.
  • Charity Auction & Raffle: Unique prizes surpassed last year’s £57,000 total.
  • Guest Speakers: Paul Ferriday shared his inspiring cancer journey.
  • Live Music: Our trio’s setlist featured Ed Sheeran, Clean Bandit and Harry Styles.
  • Networking: Attendees connected over shared support for men’s health.

Additionally, each element worked in harmony to encourage generous donations.

Trust Mission and Impact

Ball Tampering Allowed Trust (Charity No. 1207377) raises testicular cancer awareness among men of all ages. Founded in 2023 by Paul Ferriday and Simon Burrows, the charity uses sport and community to promote early detection. Furthermore, yesterday’s lunch strengthened this critical message.

Looking to the Future

Early reports show we have already exceeded last year’s fundraising figure. Therefore, yesterday’s Charity Lunch in Concert marks significant progress. We look forward to supporting the Trust again next year.
