Emily & Sean’s Wedding Ceremony

🎻 Emily & Sean’s Church Ceremony
Our Lady of the Annunciation, Bishop Eton Church, Liverpool

Church wedding music Liverpool was at the heart of Emily and Sean’s beautiful celebration at Our Lady of the Annunciation, Bishop Eton Church. This red-brick gem in South Liverpool is a popular choice for couples seeking a traditional yet personal ceremony. The parish welcomes everyone warmly. Even on a Friday afternoon, the earlier Mass drew a full congregation. After the service, florists decorated the pews, and we quietly set up in the space that had just echoed with worship.

Emily walked down the aisle to Can’t Help Falling in Love. Its slow, steady pace made it ideal for a graceful entrance, especially with six bridesmaids leading the way. During the signing of the register, we played Friday I’m in Love by The Cure and Lover by Taylor Swift. These choices added warmth and personality. To conclude the ceremony, the couple chose Pompeii by Bastille — a lively finish that matched the joyful mood perfectly.

We love performing church wedding music Liverpool couples can personalise. Whether you prefer classical pieces or modern favourites, we tailor each set to suit your style and venue. Bishop Eton Church offers excellent acoustics, and the atmosphere stayed reverent and joyful throughout.

📖 Planning hymns and church wedding music

We’re happy to play any hymn, as long as we have the sheet music. If your chosen hymn isn’t listed, a photo or scan from your hymn book usually works well. Our collection grows with every wedding, and we’re always glad to add new favourites.

Church organs often use a different tuning from string instruments. We tune to concert pitch (A440), where the note A above middle C vibrates at 440 cycles per second. Some older organs sit slightly higher or lower. Although most ears won’t notice the difference, it prevents us from playing in unison. Because our instruments are sensitive, retuning would affect sound quality. If you’re including an organist, that’s absolutely fine — many couples do — but we wouldn’t be able to play alongside them.
