A Joyful Celebration at Combermere Abbey
We were delighted to perform as a string trio for Hannah and Jonathon’s wedding celebration at the breathtaking Combermere Abbey. This exclusive-use venue in Cheshire offered a romantic and elegant setting for a day filled with music, laughter and love.
A Personal Ceremony with Heart
Although Hannah and Jonathon were already legally married, they chose to mark the occasion with a blessing. A close family friend led the ceremony and did a brilliant job. His warmth, humour and sincerity made the moment feel truly personal.
The ceremony took place in one of Combermere’s beautiful spaces. Natural light and lush surroundings added to the atmosphere. Hannah walked in to the timeless beauty of Pachelbel’s Canon, which created a serene and graceful mood.
The signing was short and sweet. Guests enjoyed Signed, Sealed, Delivered and All You Need is Love, two upbeat choices that reflected the couple’s joyful spirit. For their exit, they chose The First, The Last, My Everything, which lifted the mood and brought smiles all around.
Drinks in the Garden
After the ceremony, guests moved into the gardens for a lively drinks reception. The setting was idyllic. Beautifully maintained grounds and relaxed conversation made this part of the day feel warm and welcoming.
Combermere Abbey is a venue that couples fall in love with. From the Edwardian Glasshouse to the Victorian Walled Garden Pavilion, every corner offers something special. The estate blends history and romance to create a timeless backdrop for celebrations.
We played a mix of classical favourites and modern hits throughout the afternoon. The playlist included everything from Bach to Coldplay, with something for every generation. Guests often paused to listen, and several came over to say how much they enjoyed the music.
We had a wonderful time performing for Hannah and Jonathon. Their warmth and enthusiasm made the whole day feel personal and full of heart. We wish them every happiness in the years ahead.
