The Ceremony: St Joseph the Worker Church
They were married at St Joseph the Worker Church in Irlam under clear blue skies. As guests took their seats, we began with a gentle prelude. Consequently, the church’s natural acoustics made every note resonate beautifully. Then, our playlist included classical favourites and soft contemporary melodies—blending reverence with the couple’s style. As a result, the ceremony felt rich in emotion and grace.
Reception Part 1: Drinks Reception at Statham Lodge
After the service, everyone made their way to Statham Lodge in Lymm. Its Georgian elegance and landscaped gardens provided the perfect setting. During the drinks reception, our quartet set a relaxed tone, encouraging conversation and creating a lovely atmosphere.
Reception Part 2: First Dance Interlude
Later, as guests mingled, we transitioned to romantic arrangements for Louise and James’s first dance before the reception concluded. Each piece reflected their favourite songs, ensuring a beautifully memorable interlude. Consequently, guests commented on how the music shaped the day’s mood.

A Behind-the-Scenes Connection (Part 2)
Then, as a surprise, I arranged Lippy Kids for the pre-entrance music—bringing everything full circle. Now, that moment is one of our most popular clips, with 1.6 k+ views on YouTube Shorts. For comparison, here’s Elbow’s original track. Together, these links offer inspiration to couples seeking meaningful, memorable music choices.
