A Warm Welcome and Stunning Venue
Martha and James are such a lovely and welcoming couple, as were their guests, making it a pleasure to perform for them at Hyde Bank Farm in Romiley. The weather held for their reception and the sun came out as we moved into the stunning dining hall for their meal. We received so many compliments along the way. The venue staff were all extremely friendly and efficient, and the manager in particular was incredibly organised and helpful. Hyde Bank Farm’s in‑house catering service operated with slick professionalism, impressing us as much as the guests. The dining hall overlooked beautiful views of the Pennines and Marple Aqueduct, providing a picturesque backdrop for the meal.

We played a mix of upbeat and atmospheric tunes to suit every moment, choosing tracks that matched the ambience and ensured guests could hear us over the lively dining hall acoustics. Selections included:

Volume Control for Seamless Flow
We tailored our volume to the occasion—keeping it lower when photographers were organising group shots so instructions could be heard, and raising it again to maintain the celebratory vibe. Because the dining hall was quite resonant and guests were lively, we selected mostly louder tracks to cut through the noise and keep the music setting the mood.
Special Personal Touches
Special touches from the couple made the day even more memorable: Martha’s colleague crafted their beautiful wedding cake, and Martha herself arranged the flowers, which were absolutely stunning.
