Wedding Reception at Arley Hall
The Wedding Reception at Arley Hall began later than planned but unfolded into a perfectly lovely afternoon. Guests arrived a touch behind schedule, the forecast had promised rain, and yet the sun found its way through. Arley Hall's gardens made a beautiful setting, and the venue team were wonderfully accommodating — they even postponed the wedding breakfast so the moment could happen outdoors.
A sunny Wedding Reception at Arley Hall
Because of the delayed arrival the couple and venue chose to push the wedding breakfast back. That gave us the chance to perform on the lawn beneath the gazebo, and the Arley staff arranged everything with calm efficiency. It's always a relief when a venue can pivot like that and keep the day flowing.
A warm outdoor set
Although the forecast hadn't looked promising, the afternoon turned glorious. We played a mix of pop, film and Disney favourites which went down a treat and added a lovely familiar soundtrack to the afternoon.
Lawnside atmosphere and lawn games
Guests enjoyed drinks and canapés on the grass while lawn games kept the younger ones delighted. There was a lovely easygoing buzz as people mingled and the children made the most of the space. It felt like a proper summer reception, gentle and joyful rather than hurried.
Moving through the archway
After we finished, everyone made their way through the archway into the permanent marquee for the next part of the day. The transition from lawn to marquee was effortless and felt beautifully choreographed, a testament to the venue team's experience.
Ella's moment
Ella looked absolutely stunning in her dress. It was one of those bride moments that makes you catch your breath — elegant, radiant and entirely herself.
A big thank you to Arley Hall for their hospitality and to everyone who helped the afternoon run so smoothly. It was a lovely reception, the kind of event that leaves guests smiling as they move on to the next part of the celebration.
