Zone Out Festival

Zone Out Festival

What a fantastic experience it was to perform once again at the Zone Out Festival at Manchester Metropolitan University last week! We were absolutely delighted to be invited back for a second time, and it was wonderful to see such an enthusiastic and appreciative audience. The festival itself is a brilliant initiative, offering students and staff a chance to unwind, de-stress, and enjoy some live music in a relaxed atmosphere. Since we love being part of events that promote well-being, we were thrilled to contribute to such a positive experience.

The venue welcomed us warmly, and we truly appreciated the audience’s enthusiasm. Performing for people who genuinely enjoy live music is incredibly special. It makes all the rehearsing and preparation worthwhile! We played a varied set, featuring a mix of classical favourites and well-known contemporary pieces. One of the highlights was our own arrangement of The Bare Necessities, which never fails to bring a smile to people’s faces.

Throughout the performance, we noticed a range of reactions from quiet appreciation to outright joy. Live music has a way of creating a shared experience, and we loved connecting with everyone through our playing. Fortunately, someone captured a video from the event—thank you so much for that! Having a keepsake from special performances like this means a lot to us.

We are incredibly grateful to the organisers for inviting us back and for putting together such a fantastic event. Since we had such a great time, we really hope to return again in the future! Performing at the Zone Out Festival is always a pleasure, and we look forward to more opportunities like this.
